ATTENTION!

Please, remember this name: CONSTRUCT DATA.

As an exhibitor at a Reed Exhibitions Iberia trade show, we believe that you should know that many complaints have been made all over the world regarding a publication known as "THE EXHIBITORS FAIR GUIDE", prepared by the company CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG AG, of Vienna (Austria).

Through its website http://www.fairguide.com/, CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG AG sells advertising. To achieve its ends, the Austrian firm contacts exhibitor companies, to which it sends forms requesting their details. This situation affects trade shows organised by both fairgrounds and private organisers, whether domestic or international.

On the forms it sends to companies, CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG AG includes, in capital letters, the name of the trade show in which the exhibitor is taking part. The ambiguous manner in which the information is presented leads to an erroneous association regarding the origin of the advertising offered. Many exhibitors interpret this as another of the services provided by the trade show organiser.

To achieve its goals, CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG AG takes advantage of the weeks prior to the opening of the trade show, during which final preparations are being made. Its documents are written in a very unclear way, which confuses many companies, leading them to believe they have received the form for free inclusion of their name in the trade show’s official catalogue.

However, the Austrian company will demand advertising fees from those who complete the form and return it to CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG AG. Over a three-year period, these total almost 3,000 euros. Only if the form is read very closely is it possible to discover in small print at the end that it represents a contract which binds the exhibitor to make these payments.

Reed Exhibitions Iberia would like to remind you to take great care with the documents you receive. We ask that exhibitors who receive a subscription form for THE EXHIBITORS FAIR GUIDE to carefully read its entire contents before signing it to be sure that they really wish to contract for the service offered.

Reed Exhibitions Iberia has no relation whatsoever with CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG AG nor any of the advertising services it provides. Our correspondence is easily identifiable, and under no circumstances will we demand any payment at all for appearing in the official catalogue of our trade shows.
